WASHINGTON — Brazilian Taste, a Lexington, South Carolina-based company, is recalling about 4,120 pounds of frozen chicken and beef croquette products because of misbranding and the presence of an undeclared allergen, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced on Nov. 4, 2025.The recalled products contain sesame, a known allergen that was not listed on the labels. The chicken croquettes were produced between March 4 and August 19, 2025, while the beef croquettes were produced on June 2, 2025.
The specific items subject to recall include:
17.63-ounce plastic bags containing 5 “SAINT COXINHA XL CHICKEN CROQUETTES” with “best by” dates from Nov. 4, 2025, to April 19, 2026.
15.8-ounce plastic bags containing 15 “SAINT COXINHA CHICKEN CROQUETTE
