Determined Topi Keskinen has vowed to force his way back into the Aberdeen starting XI. ‌

The wide man has dropped out of the Dons team because Jimmy Thelin struggled badly for results and reverted back to a more defensive approach to try and pick up points. ‌

The Dons went from a four to a three man defence and that has helped in terms of goals conceded but the Dons haven’t had the same attacking intent or width. ‌

Keskinen confirmed: "A lot of it is because the team had a really bad start to the season and no goals were scored.

“We changed the system so that we no longer play with wingers.

“It automatically eats up playing minutes. ‌

“I’ve been able to come on in the second half, but hopefully I'll be able to start again soon.”
