The Dallas Stars will try to extend their winning streak to a season-best four games on Thursday, but they will need to win on the road against the Montreal Canadiens, who lead the NHL's Atlantic Division.
The Stars needed to rally from a 2-0 first-period deficit Tuesday to win 3-2 in overtime at Ottawa. Jason Robertson scored the game-tying goal with 12 minutes remaining in regulation and assisted on the other two goals, including the game-winner by Roope Hintz with 1:56 left in the extra session.
Of the Stars' 10 wins, nine have been by one goal.
Thursday's game wraps up a two-game road trip, but it will also be the second of four straight against Eastern Conference foes. On Wednesday, Stars coach Glen Gulutzan told reporters the style of play he's seeing from teams in the East differ
