The aurora borealis again danced in the night skies over Michigan and across the nation Wednesday night, Nov. 12 — and more shimmering lights may be on the way Thursday night, Nov. 13, in northern Michigan.
Wednesday's northern lights display illuminated skies across the U.S., Canada and Australia, USA TODAY reported.
NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC) forecasts another northern lights display Thursday night, Nov. 13, in northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula, as the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration says the aurora could be visible across up to nine states, with partly clear to mostly clear skies across much of the region set to allow for optimal viewing.
