Historic Cape May’s famed Washington Street Mall is now home to a new pickle store that will celebrate its grand opening on Friday just in time for National Pickle Day.

The Cape May Pickle Company located at 507 Washington St. is an expansion by the Smithville Pickle Company, based in another historic shopping district.

Cape May Pickle Company held a soft opening earlier this month, according to an announcement .

The grand opening celebration begins at 10 a.m. Friday and continues through Sunday with giveaways, raffles, tastings, and exclusive specials, according to a social media post.

The store will offer a grand prize of 50 free jars of pickles and other prizes that include pickle sweatshirts, pickle T-shirts, and three free large jars of pickles.
