BRYAN COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - A Richmond Hill woman was handed a 12-year sentence this morning inside the Bryan County courthouse for killing a mother of three in a car crash nearly a year ago.

Jacqlyn Bacot-Henderson will serve four of those years in prison.

Donna Pitts, 35, was killed and her grandmother was severely injured in Richmond Hill on December 6, 2025, when Bacot crashed into their car and another person’s vehicle .

Bacot was arrested following Georgia State Patrol’s crash investigation. She was originally facing seven charges , including homicide by vehicle in the first degree, driving under the influence and making false statements.
