CIRCLEVILLE — A 32-year-old man with a lengthy criminal history in Pickaway and Franklin counties has pleaded guilty to multiple child sex crimes, according to court documents.

Shad Sammet entered guilty pleas to five felony charges , including three counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor or impaired person and two counts of importuning involving a 10-year-old girl. A PSI Presentencing investigation has been ordered by Judge Chafin in the Pickaway County Court of Common Pleas.

Investigators said Sammet produced explicit material involving a child and shared the content with others.

Court records indicate Sammet has an extensive criminal background, with previous offenses tied to gun and break-in crimes. His sentencing date has not yet been announced.
