ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Members of the IAM 837 union voted on Thursday on Boeing’s latest offer.
Earlier this week, Boeing leadership sent a message to striking employees outlining a $6,000 ratification bonus to end the strike. The offer eliminated the retention bonus and said a pay increase, including the 8% GWI and the July COLA fold, would be in the Nov. 27 paycheck.
On Thursday, union members voted to accept the offer. First Alert 4 was told the offer passed with 68% approval. Boeing said employees will return to work on the third shift on Nov. 17.
“We’re pleased with the results and look forward to bringing our full team back together on Nov. 17 to support our customers,” Boeing said in a statement to First Alert 4.
