Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe admits he could not have predicted that the Magpies would be classed as one of Europe's top six sides when he took over in the hot seat four years ago.

The four-year anniversary flashed by in unceremonious fashion for Howe and his backroom team following the 3-1 defeat at Brentford. It's time for reflection behind the scenes but there is a determined manner about Newcastle's preparations for the Man City game.
