An Alberta man is facing drug-related charges after he was caught with what's believed to be carfentanyl and cocaine in Hay River, N.W.T.
In a news release Thursday, RCMP said officers carried out a traffic stop on Nov. 8, which led to suspicions the people inside the vehicle were involved in the illicit drug trade.
RCMP said they found 14.2 grams of suspected carfentanyl and three grams of suspected cocaine, which resulted in the arrests of two passengers.

A 21-year-old man from Edmonton has been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and obstructing a peace officer.
