Picture it: you’re inside, cozy and ready for the holidays. Outside, it’s chilly (maybe – it is South Carolina), the trees are bare and the clouds are gray. But you have a little bit of summer elegance just in your line of sight: Paperwhites and amaryllis bulbs have burst into bloom, poinsettias are adding pops of red, white and pink, and a Christmas cactus is gently adding to the mix.

Starting the holiday season with thriving indoor plants is as easy as buying them at their peak. But keeping them going through the season and into the new year requires a little more work.
