Authorities continue investigating the fire that destroyed the Caribou Hotel in Glennallen.
The fire broke out early Wednesday morning, quickly engulfing the hotel. State Troopers say at least five cars parked outside were also damaged. Thankfully, everyone inside the hotel escaped safely.
The hotel building is considered a total loss, but the Caribou Grill, located in a separate building on the property, reopened Thursday.
Investigators are working to determine what sparked the blaze.
