The Brooklyn building super who died in a scuffle with a porch pirate Wednesday was remembered by grieving family as a Kosovo war refugee and devoted father of three — as his alleged killer waits to face charges.
Burim Havolli, 41, was beaten to death while defending his Ditmas Park building, which has recently been plagued by package thefts and outside troublemakers, neighbors and relatives said.
“He died protecting the building, protecting the packages of the tenants,” his brother, Belerim Havolli, told The Post. “He cares so much about everyone here. He had a big heart. He was just unbelievable.
