PELHAM, N.H. —
A 19-year-old died Thursday night after the Pelham Police Department said his car crashed into a utility pole.
Responding crews said they arrived at the scene of the single-car crash around 9:08 p.m. Before their arrival, police and firefighters were told that the driver was entrapped and unresponsive.
Police said the vehicle he was driving had heavy rollover damage from striking the utility pole.
Liberty Utilities said nearly 1,000 customers living in the area temporarily lost power Thursday night due to the damaged utility pole. The issue was later resolved.
The Pelham Police Department said the driver, identified as a 19-year-old who lived in Pelham, was pronounced dead at the scene. As of 5 a.m. Friday, police did not publicly identify the driver.
