Hug beat Sparks for the 5A-North Regional boy soccer championship, 2-1 in overtime.

Both advanced to the 5A state championship and Hug made it to the final before losing to Coronado.

Hug and Sparks dominated the 5A-North High Desert All-League team and Wooster and Damonte Ranch had several players on the Sierra League team.
