WASHINGTON COUNTY, ARKANSAS, Ark. — Andrew McGann, the 29-year-old teacher accused of killing two hikers at Devil's Den earlier this year, made his first court appearance in three months on Friday, Nov. 14, at 8 a.m.
McGann was last in court on Aug. 14, when he pleaded not guilty to two counts of capital murder in connection to the deaths of Clinton and Cristen Brink.
The Brinks were reportedly hiking with their young daughters at Devil's Den when McGann, who investigators said the Brinks didn't know, proceeded to allegedly stab them to death .
McGann was arrested days later while getting his haircut at a salon in Springdale. Since his arrest, he has been held in the Washington County Detention Center without bond and in an isolation cell.
