OGLE COUNTY, Ill. — Ogle County residents are being invited to comment on a local intersection improvement project.

The Illinois Department of Transportation will host a public Zoom meeting for a proposed plan to improve the intersection of Illinois 64 and 251 in Ogle County.

The current intersection is a four-way stop. The proposed change is converting the intersection into a roundabout with 20-foot-wide single lane.

The roundabout will include a 12-foot-wide concrete truck apron for large trucks, farm equipment, and emergency vehicles. The apron will offer those vehicles another way to go around the circle.

Lighting around the roundabout would also be installed.
