GLENDALE, Ariz. — A West Valley family is grieving after a loved one was hit and killed while riding his bike . His siblings are now speaking about what happened and the grief they're feeling, with the hopes that no other family will experience a similar tragedy.
"He joked so much," his sister, Marivel Vazquez, said. "He was just an amazing man and I'm proud he's my brother."
For 44 years, Ricardo Castro Lopez brightened the lives of those who knew him.
"I'm going to miss his hugs," his sister, Guadalupe Garcia, said.
"He always found the humor in everything," Vazquez said. "He made us all laugh. His jokes, his laugh, his smile, he was just a happy person, and he wanted good for everybody."
