FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WBAY) - The Fond du Lac School District is taking its first steps forward towards a possible operational referendum just months after voters rejected the last one in April.
That led to staff cuts and larger class sizes, and students say they’re feeling the impact.
Inside Fond du Lac High School, students say their classrooms feel different this year. Bigger, louder, and a lot harder to learn in.
“I feel like our classroom is getting a lot bigger, so it’s like hard for the teachers to really teach us anything, like, one-on-one, personally, so we don’t get the actual help that we need,” says FDLHS junior DeAndre Williamson.
