BRIMSON, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Brimson residents are coming together to support those impacted by the camp house fire.
In May, the wildfire was sparked by an unattended campfire.
It burned thousands of acres and destroyed more than 150 structures across the northeast.

For residents impacted in the Brimson area, an upcoming benefit concert aims to help those impacted.
“We’re just hoping to get a good turnout just because there has not been a lot of federal or state funding, if any, for certain residents, so we’re just hoping our community will come out to support our little town of Brimson,“ said Mikala Schliep, president of Brimson Strong Community Support and Recovery.
