BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Buffalo man has been extradited from Alabama and arraigned after being accused of killing his step-daughter.
According to Erie County District Attorney's Office, Peter D. Brown, 38, has been charged with one count of murder in the second degree.
District Attorney Michael Keane says on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2024, around 4:30 a.m., Buffalo Police responded to a home on East Ferry Street after receiving a 911 call. Police say they found Kayshawna M. Jordan, 20, dead inside one of the bedrooms.
The Erie County Medical Examiner's Office determined her death was a homicide caused by "strangulation and blunt impact injuries to the head."
