KINGSTON, N.Y. — An expert in accident reconstruction called by the defense testified Friday in Ulster County Court that the car crash that killed 11-year-old Monica Goods happened when her father lost control of the Dodge Journey he was driving, and not because former Trooper Christopher Baldner rammed the vehicle.

And he directly rebutted the conclusions drawn by prosecution expert Richard Ruth, saying Ruth relied on faulty information and made inaccurate calculations.
