NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A new Nashville school will help kids who are dealing with dyslexia.
Friday was the topping off ceremony for the Roberts Academy and Dyslexia Center at Vanderbilt University. The final beam was installed for the building along Edgehill Avenue.
The school will provide special education for dyslexic kids from across Middle Tennessee.
“Dyslexia is something we can’t cure, but we do know how to help kids with Dyslexia. We can teach kids with Dyslexia how to read, and we know how to do it well,” said Jared Clodfelter, director of Roberts Academy at Vanderbilt University. “It’s just a matter of finding the right place, the right fit, the right teachers, the right curriculum, and that’s why Roberts Academy is so important.”
