BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - The holiday season has officially begun in the Bryan-College Station community. The Salvation Army had its Angel Tree kick off at Blue Baker, celebrating the giving season that’s to come.
The Angel Tree program provides Christmas gifts for children and families in need. Trees are at all three Blue Baker locations, as well as at other businesses in the area. Donors select an angel tag from the tree and buy the gift listed on the tag. They will then follow the drop-off instructions listed on the tag.
The celebration included a ribbon-cutting, led by Luis Villanueva, Core Officer of the Salvation of Brazos County.
