GREENSBORO, N.C. — GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Greensboro family says a roof replacement meant to stop water from pouring inside their home only left them with more damage — and no response from the roofer who did the job.
Just off North O’Henry Boulevard sits a home that has been in the Gregory family for more than 50 years. “I was raised in this house. When we moved in, I was in third grade,” said homeowner Sandra Gregory .
Gregory no longer lives there, but her grandson does — and he was the first to notice water dripping through the ceiling. “Right above the chimney — right there in the middle area,” he told her during a call.
Inside, the drywall was stained and, in some places, had to be ripped out. Gregory said the leaks were the reason she hired a roofer for an $8,000 replacement. But
