SALISBURY — A Salisbury business owner has been charged after deputies said they found “child sex abuse material” on a phone associated with him.

Justin Michael Wells, 45, was charged on Nov. 7 with eight counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. Wells is the owner of Fullers Market in downtown Salisbury.

The charges come as the result of an investigation resulting from a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which reportedly stated that child sex abuse material was discovered on a Kik account.
