An update has been issued on the building of a new bridge along the A10 near Cambridge . The new bridge , being built in Waterbeach , is being fitted for a new pedestrian, cycle and equestrian route.
The installation of the bridge has previously divided the opinion of Cambridgeshire Live readers . Some praised the new safer routes, while others said it was a waste of money and would cause unnecessary disruption.
Developers Urban & Civic have now confirmed the bridge is set to open in early 2026. A spokesperson for Urban & Civic said: “With the bridge installed, the team is working hard to complete all the associated works and connect it into the surrounding infrastructure.
