BENGALURU: A prominent film producer has been arrested on charges of molesting an actress. The owner of AVR Entertainment, Aravind Venkatesh Reddy, has been arrested. The arrest was made on the complaint of an actress-model. The police arrested Venkatesh, who had arrived in Bengaluru from Sri Lanka. The police had issued a lookout notice against him.

The complaint states that Aravind and the actress first met when she was invited as a guest of honour for the inauguration of a cricket tournament in Sri Lanka in 2021. Their interaction soon turned friendly, and the businessman allegedly showed "care, affection and constant attention".
