MANCHESTER, Ohio (WXIX) - A member of a prominent Cincinnati family was killed Friday night in an Adams County shooting involving the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the West Union Police Department, according to a source close to the family.
The source confirms to FOX19 NOW that the victim is a family member of Carl and Martha Lindner .
According to troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred when the Adams County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a person concerned for their safety, and a chase ensued.
Crews at the scene said the chase began in Peebles and ended along the 4100 block of Ohio Brush Creek Road in Manchester, reaching over 100 mph, before the suspect got out of the car and ran into a home.
