The newly appointed president of the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC), Ganesh Godiyal will officially take charge on Sunday. The Congress party has made arrangements to make the event grand. The party has directed all its senior leaders, heads of frontal organisation and workers to attend the event at Congress Bhawan. All the senior leaders of the party and the State in-charge of Congress, Kumari Selja are expected to take part in the programme.

In a swift move on Tuesday, the Congress high command handed over the reins of the PCC to senior leader Ganesh Godiyal.
