A much-loved Glasgow vintage clothing shop was recently visited by a customer all the way from Singapore, who had interrupted his honeymoon specially to do some thrifting at the retro retailer.

The man took a train detour to Glasgow while celebrating his marriage in the UK to shop at Dees of Trongate, which has been in business since the early 1950s.

He had been following the store online for a while, and was so much of a fan that he paused his honeymoon to see what the shop had to offer in person.

The man came prepared, having picked out the items he wanted on the Dees website before his arrival, and showed screenshots to the staff to find exactly what he wanted.
