A prison officer burst into tears as a jury found her guilty of misconduct after she had affairs with two inmates.
Isabelle Dale, 23, was convinced she would marry one of them and sent him love letters in which she talked about their future together when he was released from prison. She even bought herself a £3,000 engagement ring.
Dale started working at HMP Coldingley in Surrey at the age of just 19, and within months of taking up her new position, she ended up in sexual relationships with not one but two inmates, a court heard.
One of them, Shahid Sharif, who was jailed for 12 years for the armed robbery of a jewellers in which he threatened to maim people with ammonia, was known as 'Sneaks'.
