STRUTHERS A branch of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County (PLYMC) has closed early on Saturday.

According to a notification from Strategic Communications Officer Michael Stepp of the PLYMC, the reason for the early closure is due to a power outage.

The notification specifies that the Struthers Branch, located at 95 Poland Avenue in Struthers, is affected by the outage.

According to the First Energy website, the Struthers community was experiencing a total of 1,109 power interruptions around 2:30 p.m.

At this point, it is unknown what caused the outages across Struthers.

Power is expected to be restored at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
