One person is dead after a collision involving two planes Saturday morning in South Glengarry Township, Ont., provincial police say.
The collision happened around 10:50 a.m., according to a spokesperson for the Transportation Safety Board (TSB).
Roughly 10 minutes later, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) got a call from a witness, said Const. Serge Duguay.
Police told CBC that one of the two planes landed safely at an airport nearby. The other plane was found in the forest near Avondale, close to County Road 25 between Chapel Road and Concession Road 1.
One person was located dead at the scene, Duguay said. He did not provide their age or gender and could not say if there were any other passengers.
