MINNEAPOLIS — The Minneapolis Federation of Educators (MFE) votes to ratify the tentative agreement with Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS).

Union leaders announced on Saturday that they have ratified the contracts with MPS, finalizing the tentative agreement first reached over the last weekend. Now, contracts will go to the school board for approval.

The agreement covers contracts for teachers, educational support professionals (ESPs) and adult educators.

The deal was first reached on Nov. 8, when the two groups sat at the discussion table after months of disagreement.
