KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The No. 23 Tennessee Volunteers are rested up coming off an open week as they are set to welcome in the New Mexico State Aggies for homecoming.

The Vols will don their new “Volunteers Spirit” smokey grey uniforms as this will serve as Tennessee’s Salute to Service game, honoring all military branches and personnel.

Tennessee looks to extend its non-conference regular season winning streak to 18 games in a row against the Aggies. This will be the first meeting ever between the two teams.

The Vols are coming off a much needed bye week. Two weeks ago, Tennessee lost at home to Oklahoma, 33-27, putting a dent in the Vols College Football Playoff hopes.
