A Salem woman died in a two-vehicle crash near Amity Thursday, Oregon State Police said.
Jamie Lynn Price, 45, crossed into oncoming traffic around 5:30 p.m. while driving southbound on Highway 153 in a Hyundai accent, then crashed head-on into a Chevrolet Bolt that was going in the opposite direction, police said in a statement Friday.
Price, who was not wearing a seat belt, was declared dead at the scene, police said. The 64-year-old driver of the other car, Scot Bradford Ragsdale, of Dundee, suffered minor injuries, police said.
Police do not know why Price drove into oncoming traffic.
