CHICAGO – Michigan’s football team overcame four turnovers in the second half to beat Northwestern 24-22 with a last-second 31-yard field goal on Saturday at Wrigley Field.
The 18 th -ranked Wolverines (8-2, 6-1) doubled up the Wildcats in total yardage, 496-245, but were on the verge of a monumental second-half collapse. They had four turnovers in the final two quarters, including two in Northwestern territory, that nearly derailed their season.
