DERBY, Conn. (WFSB) - Shelton Animal Control is asking for the public’s help after a dog was found dead in a duffle bag along a building on 6th Street in Derby.
The dog was described as an unneutered male mixed breed, believed to be part pitbull, French bulldog and Boston terrier.
Officials said the medium-sized dog was mainly tan with white patches on the body and face.
The pup was last seen wearing a black nylon collar with a piece of zip tie attached to it.
The animal was discovered deceased in a black suit-style duffle bag, according to Shelton Animal Control.
