LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Warm and dry weather is not in a hurry to leave, though rain may return later next week.
Sunday looks very similar to what we saw Saturday. This means morning fog will be possible again before sunshine returns and highs each the low 80’s again. It will be a warm, but nice day for those outdoor plans you may have.
Even in the week doesn’t look different. Rain chances will stay very low with highs in the low 80’s through Tuesday. Southerly wind will pick up to increase humidity, and the winds themselves may gust over 20 mph at times starting Monday.
Rain chances finally will return later in the week as a cold front approaches. We’re not expecting frigid air behind this one, but some showers and thunderstorms will be a better bet around Thursday night into Friday
