CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Video captured the moment federal agents smashed their way through a driver’s side window, looking for undocumented migrants in Charlotte on Saturday morning.
United States Customs and Border Protection agents, also referred to as Border Patrol, came to the Queen City on Saturday, Nov. 15, as part of “ Operation Charlotte Web .”
Fanning out along South Boulevard and east of Charlotte, some witnesses told WBTV that people were chased down on foot and by car as officials swarmed the area. Several Hispanic-owned businesses were seen shutting their doors and funneling their employees out of the back door, according to people in the area.
