MASON, Mich. (WILX) -On Saturday, News 10 anchor David Andrews released his cookbook “Baking News,” drawing crowds to a book signing event in Mason.

The $25 cookbook features recipes and personal stories from Andrews and other News 10 personalities, including Ann Emmerich, Andy Provenzano, Tim Staudt, and various others.

Andrews said the community connection through food has been meaningful to him as a news anchor.

“It just shows that, you know, when you’re on the news, you know, in that box every night, there are real people out there, and when you make a connection through food, it’s a powerful connection,” Andrews said. “And so, you know, it’s a testament to, you know, what I’ve been doing over the years, baking and people have taken to that and it’s nice.”
