Siemers Farm announced on Saturday afternoon that after approximately 6,000 pounds of carrots were harvested, the fields have been “picked out.”
The farm will no longer be open to the public on Sunday, and will remain closed until late spring.
“Thank you for showing up, for sharing this post, for sharing your carrots,” Siemers Farm staff said on social media.
SPOKANE, Wash. – After growing two acres of plentiful carrots, Siemers Farm is offering a weekend of free carrots to anyone who wants them.
The farm is inviting community members to visit on November 15 and November 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a milk-crate sized container to harvest carrots, which participants can take home for free.
