The 2025 NJSIAA/Wilson girls volleyball state tournament was packed with action, upsets, and statements.

On Saturday, Nov. 15, Old Bridge and Westfield battled it out for the Group 4 title.

Old Bridge, in a dramatic five-set thriller, defeated Westfield 33-31, 21-25, 25-17, 16-25, 15-6.

Ashley Markle, Old Bridge, Jr.

The FSU beach commit compiled 29 kills, eight digs, and one ace. Two of those kills came very late in the first set, giving the Knights their 29th and 30th points as part of a 33-31 set win. She will enter her senior season with 985 career kills.

Weronika Malinowski, Old Bridge, Sr.

Malinowski put down the match-winning point with a kill, which was one of 15. She also zipped three aces, produced 21 digs, and registered 2 blocks.
