Disha Patani’s father gets weapons licence after firing outside Bareilly home

Disha Patani ’s family has received an important security update after the recent firing incident outside their Bareilly residence. Her father, Jagdish Patani, has been granted a weapons licence by the Bareilly district administration. The decision comes days after the early morning firing that raised concerns about the family’s safety.

Reports said Jagdish Patani, a retired DSP, approached the Bareilly District Magistrate soon after the incident. He sought permission for a weapon as a precaution. During this period, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assured him that his security needs would be addressed. The administration moved forward once the required checks were completed.
