The explosion that occurred during chemical sampling at Nowgam Police Station in Srinagar on November 14 has been confirmed as an accident, according to the forensic team probing the incident. Officials clarified that no evidence suggests a terror attack.

Preliminary findings show that the blast took place while FSL and NSG teams were examining the final box of ammonium nitrate and other chemicals seized from Faridabad in connection with the Delhi blast case.
