BATON ROUGE -- Everything was going well for the University of Arkansas football team Saturday afternoon at Tiger Stadium -- maybe a little too well in an eventual 23-22 loss.

Despite fumbling at the LSU 27 on the opening drive, the Razorbacks (2-8, 0-6 SEC) held a 14-0 lead after the first quarter. Freshman linebacker Wyatt Simmons and senior safety Caleb Wooden teamed up to block a punt, and the latter returned it for a touchdown.

Then, a short 24-yard punt by LSU's Grant Chadwick set up an 11-play, 52-yard touchdown drive by Arkansas.

The first blocked punt for a touchdown by Arkansas since 2009 -- when interim Coach Bobby Petrino was the program's head coach -- marked the halfway point to a repeat of the 2011 game.
