A Winter Weather Advisory that began with a few counties in the eastern Upper Peninsula has now expanded today to include several counties in the northern Lower Peninsula.

The advisories - which last into Monday - spell out worsening travel conditions throughout today that could include a full-blown snow squall set-up with blowing snow, gusty winds and worsening visibility on the roads, according to the National Weather Service.

Gale Warnings have also been issued for Lake Superior and Lake Huron.

Upper Peninsula: The counties of Luce, Chippewa and Mackinac, in the eastern portion of the Upper Peninsula, are under this advisory. Anywhere from 2 to 7 inches of snow are forecast for this area. The incoming gusty winds
