(KFVS) - It’s another gorgeous day in the Heartland!

However, Spencer Wareing says seasonal temperatures are expected to return tomorrow for the start of the work week, so go out and enjoy the nice weather this afternoon.

Highs today will be in the low 60s with lots of sunshine. But as night falls, we will see lows drop to the mid-30s, giving patchy frost a chance to develop.

Looking ahead, Monday begins with much cooler weather than this weekend. It will also kick off a rainy trend with an increased chance for scattered showers and possibly thunderstorms.

You will want to keep an umbrella handy because as the work week progresses, those rain chances will increase.

It is possible for some localized flooding to occur Wednesday through Friday, with some areas seeing between 1 and 3 inch
