BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Morning fog will remain an issue into early next week, along with temperatures running well above normal for mid-November.

TODAY’S FORECAST

After a foggy and cool start, temperatures will gradually warm into the low 80s this afternoon under dry and mainly sunny skies.

FOG POTENTIAL

Guidance continues to indicate the potential for areas of dense fog overnight into tomorrow morning.

In some locations, localized “super fog” may form where smoke from smoldering agricultural fires settles near the ground. Visibility can drop quickly, so use caution if traveling early in the day.

Fog development looks likely for several mornings next week.
